Privacy Policy

Summary

Mshukiwa is a social party game. We collect only what is needed to run the experience on your device: things like your display name, optional portrait choice, and locally stored preferences (for example sound, language, and basic stats). We do not sell your personal information.

Who this applies to

This policy applies to the Mshukiwa mobile app distributed on Google Play and any web version operated by Tech Heart at the same product. If you use a copy hosted by someone else, that host’s practices may differ.

Data we process

• Account & profile — display name and optional portrait / cosmetic choices you select in the app.
• Gameplay & preferences — settings such as language and audio, and locally stored progress or stats needed for the game to function.
• Online play (where available) — room codes, player tags, and session-related information needed to match you with a private or public room. Treat room codes as sensitive if you want a closed group.
• Device & diagnostics — limited technical information your device or Google Play may provide for stability, security, and fraud prevention (for example crash reports if you opt in or if the platform collects them).

Optional sign-in (if enabled in a build) may use an identifier from your sign-in provider so friends can find you online. That provider’s privacy policy also applies to authentication data they process.

Where data is stored

Much of Mshukiwa’s state is stored on your device (for example in app storage or browser storage on web builds). Online features may exchange data in real time so players in the same session can stay in sync. Unless a separate backend is enabled in your build, we do not operate a central database of your conversations for advertising profiling.

Push notifications (optional)

If your build includes Google Play services configuration for push notifications, Google’s infrastructure may process tokens required to deliver messages. You can disable notifications in your device settings.

Advertising

Some builds may include optional rewarded ads (for example to earn in-game coins). If advertising SDKs are present, they may collect identifiers and usage data under their own policies (for example Google AdMob). We configure ads only where supported and in line with platform rules.

Children

Mshukiwa is intended for general audiences. Children should use the game with a parent or guardian’s guidance. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what a parent or guardian enters for family play.

Your choices

• Change or clear your display name and cosmetics in the app.
• Clear app data or uninstall the Android app to remove locally stored information on that device.
• Contact us if you need help with data rights applicable in your region.

International transfers

If you use Google Play or other global services, data may be processed in countries where those providers operate, as described in their policies.

Changes

We may update this policy when the app changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
